Drawing Life.
Figure drawing is not only about the human form, figure drawing is also about expressing the amazing phenomena of human life. Therefore this drawing group focuses not only on the representation of the human form in its exterior object, but on the living moment within. When drawing from the living form we make the model our partner, there is an exchange places, the model contributes as a collaborator in expressing the individual within. There is no point in just copying, a photograph does that better; nor are we an assembly of cubes, cones, or tubes. Expressing nature as experience can only be done through the living exchange in real time, in complete admission that we too are nature.
